Reading and writing are two of my passions, some of the quotes that I have read have had a true impact on my life. Everyday I will post quotes that have inspired me over these last two years. Today's quote is from Buddha.
Siddhārtha Gautama Buddha (c. 563 BCE to 483 BCE) was a spiritual teacher from the Indian subcontinent, on whose teachings Buddhism was founded. The word Buddha is a title for the first awakened being in an era. This is in my opinion one of Buddha's most powerful quotes. Quotes like these made me realise happiness, sadness, love and hate, or any other emotional state comes from our mind. I read once that our minds are like a heartbeat. We can't control them, but we can become aware of them and consciously choose which ones we allow in our lives.
What are your thoughts on this quote ?
