UFC CEO Dana White wants the UFC 300 event to live up to fans’ expectations. According to the executive, the plan is to feature 11 to 13 high-profile current and former champions in the card.

UFC still hasn’t completed the card, with the main event still waiting to be announced. In the past weeks, there were speculations that the main event had already been announced by the promotion. However, White negated the claims and promised that it would be in the two last bouts that would be revealed.

In line with this, the executive revealed that there would be a total of 11 to 13 world champs joining the card.

“We have something like on 300, something between like 11 to 13 world champions and depending on the main event, could be 11 to 13 world champions on that f****** card,” White said in a recent interview with Kevin Iole on YouTube. “Never been done. It’s probably never been done in the history of combat sports.”

Based on the current names already confirmed by White on the UFC 300 card, there are already nine former and current world champs in the event. If White is just pertaining to UFC talents, the number would include Aljamain Sterling, Charles Oliveira, Cody Garbrandt, Deivesion Figueiredo, Holly Holm, Jéssica Andrade, Jiří Procházka, Max Holloway, and Zhang Weili. However, Kayla Harrison, who is making her UFC debut in April, was also a former world champ of PFL. There will also be a BMF bout in the event, featuring current champ Justin Gaethje. If the two fighters are added, that would be 11 names in total.

With all that, there’s a possibility that the last two fights White would confirm would feature two more world champs. In past reports, the Dricus Du Plessis vs. Israel Adesanya is one of the choices for promotion. “The Last Stylebender” is now back in training while Du Plessis is considering the vent depending on his recovery. Nonetheless, the promotion might still introduce other pairs in the card, with other fighters continuously expressing interest in joining the event.
